"Gardens are poems where you stroll with your hands in your pockets" - Pierre Albert-Birot
As you take a walk through your garden today, listen out for birds chirping, the smell of freshly cut grass and the beautiful colors that blossom around you and just relax, Summer is on its way.
I hope you have been enjoying the milder weather and the beautiful sunshine whilst sat in your garden. With the rising temperatures, and frequent rain showers, Summer is definitely upon us.
The grass will start to grow more quickly and therefore it is important to mow your lawns more frequently in order to help them thicken up following the Winter months. Mowing once a week is recommended when the grass is growing quickly (our early summer fertiliser will help boost the growth), every time you mow the lawn the grass will produce extra blades of grass.
Don't forget to check the mower blade and ensure it is nice and sharp - blunt blades give rise to brown tips on the grass which can negatively affect the appearance of lawns
